Comet Academy: JPL Horizons

JPL Horizons is THE tool for generating positions and other information concerning solar system objects. A time table of this information is called and ephemeris and this video dives into using JPL Horizons in order to have proper planning with the ultimate precision necessary. There simply may not be time to recover from inaccurate information which might lead to a missed opportunity. Shown in this video is the example of comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) of which I captured at 8 degrees above the horizon with no seconds to spare.
